Common questions about seller calculators
Are the preset fees exact?
No. Marketplace fees change by category, price band, weight and region, and marketplaces revise them regularly. Presets are starting points; copy the numbers from your seller panel’s fee card for exact results.
How do I calculate the base price from a GST-inclusive price?
Base = Inclusive price ÷ (1 + rate/100). For ₹1,180 at 18 %: 1180 ÷ 1.18 = ₹1,000, so GST is ₹180. Choose “Including GST” and the tool does this for you.
What is the volumetric weight formula?
Volumetric weight (kg) = Length × Width × Height (cm) ÷ 5000. Some couriers use 4000 or 6000; air cargo often uses 6000.
