Why sellers use this seller profit calculator
A ₹499 order is not ₹499 of revenue. Commission, a fixed fee, a collection fee, the shipping charge, 18 % GST on all of those, and the GST you owe on the sale itself come off before settlement — and every tenth order might come back as an RTO that costs you twice. Sellers who price without this arithmetic discover the problem in their bank balance.
This calculator lays the chain out line by line: net receivable from the marketplace, GST payable, profit per delivered order, margin and ROI, then a realistic “expected profit” that accounts for your return rate. Presets fill in indicative fee structures for Meesho (zero commission), Flipkart and Amazon India; every field stays editable so you can match the exact rate card of your category.

Frequently asked questions
Are the preset fees exact?
No. Marketplace fees change by category, price band, weight and region, and marketplaces revise them regularly. Presets are starting points; copy the numbers from your seller panel’s fee card for exact results.
How is GST handled?
The selling price is treated as GST-inclusive. GST on the sale is separated out as a liability (you may offset input credit). Marketplace fees attract 18 % GST, which is added to the deductions.
What does “expected profit after returns” mean?
It weights profit on delivered orders against the loss on returned orders using your return rate: expected = (1 − r) × profit − r × return cost, where r is the return rate.
Does Meesho really charge zero commission?
Meesho has advertised 0 % commission for suppliers since 2021, but you still bear return shipping in many cases and GST on any fees. The Meesho preset reflects this; adjust the cost per return to match your experience.
