How to use the SKU Mapping
- 01
Collect your SKUs
Drop one or more label PDFs from Meesho, Flipkart or Amazon. Every SKU found is listed with the product name read from the label or invoice.
- 02
Type your own codes
Enter your warehouse SKU next to each marketplace SKU, and shorten long product names. Several marketplace SKUs can share one code. Everything saves as you type.
- 03
Crop and pick as usual
Open any label cropper or the Picklist Generator. Sorting, the SKU stamp and the picklist now use your codes and names automatically.
Why sellers use the SKU Mapping
Marketplaces each give the same product a different SKU. Meesho may print a random-looking code like dzGdRvr3, Flipkart shows the seller SKU ID you typed months ago, and your shelf bin says POSTER-DS-3. Packers end up translating between them in their heads, which is exactly where wrong-item dispatches come from.
SKU Mapping lets you record, once, that dzGdRvr3 on Meesho and marvel10 on Flipkart are both your POSTER-DS-3, with a short name you can read at a glance. After that, the label croppers sort and stamp labels with your code, and the Picklist Generator merges every marketplace SKU for that product into a single pick row.
What you get
One code per product
The same item listed on three marketplaces shows up as one SKU on labels and one row on the picklist.
Readable labels
Stamp your own short SKU under every label instead of a marketplace code nobody on the packing table recognises.
Fewer wrong-item returns
When the label, the picklist and the shelf bin all show the same code, the packer has nothing to translate.
Set up in minutes
SKUs are collected from your existing label files, so you only type the codes, never the marketplace SKUs.
Features of the SKU Mapping
Collect from label PDFs
Reads every SKU and product name from Meesho, Flipkart and Amazon label files.
Many-to-one mapping
Point several marketplace SKUs at one of your codes; the picklist merges them.
Used everywhere
Label croppers sort and stamp with your codes; the Picklist Generator groups and names with them.
CSV import and export
Bring in a mapping sheet from Excel or Google Sheets, or back yours up in one click.
Code suggestions
Codes you have already used are suggested as you type, so the same code is spelt the same way.
Private by design
Mappings stay in this browser. Nothing is uploaded and there is no account.
Frequently asked questions
What is SKU mapping?
SKU mapping links the SKU a marketplace uses for a product to the code you use in your own warehouse or stock sheet. Once mapped, tools can show your code wherever the marketplace SKU would have appeared.
Can several marketplace SKUs map to one of my SKUs?
Yes, and that is the main reason to map. Give the Meesho, Flipkart and Amazon SKUs for the same product the same code, and the picklist shows one row with the combined quantity.
Which tools use my mapping?
The Meesho, Flipkart, Amazon and Universal label croppers use your codes when sorting by SKU and in the SKU and quantity stamp. The Picklist Generator groups rows by your code and shows your product names.
Where are my mappings stored?
In this browser only, on this device. Nothing is sent to a server. Clearing your browser data removes them, so export a CSV as a backup and import it on any other device or browser you use.
What CSV format does the import accept?
A sheet with columns for the marketplace SKU, your SKU and optionally the product name. Headers such as Marketplace SKU, Your SKU and Product name are recognised; without headers the first three columns are read in that order. Exported files import back unchanged.
Do I have to map every SKU?
No. Unmapped SKUs keep working exactly as before with their marketplace code. Use the Only unmapped filter to see what is left whenever new products appear.
Ready to run today's batch?
One product, three marketplace SKUs, one code on your shelf. Map them once and every cropped label and picklist speaks your language.
